This is a short section of a video filmed in Chile’s Atacama Desert.
An uncharacteristic rainfall created a river through the arid landscape. As the water withdrew, it left behind a fragile residue, human traces entangled with natural debris, clay and salt, settling into a temporary abstraction. What remains is both beautiful and unsettled — a record of movement, erosion, and chance.
