Inspired by the intricacy of Fair Isle knitting, the video is a mesmerising kaleidoscope in which pattern and process become inseparable. Repetition, symmetry, and rhythm echo the labour of making.
Throughout history, textile production has been predominantly, though not exclusively, the work of women. These skilled, attentive hands form the unseen architecture of our collective lives, while remaining undervalued, underpaid, and underreported. The work honours their legacy, reframing domestic and decorative labour as radical and foundational.
